Coal is mainly distributed in South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe, the reserve of the three countries is 553 million tons, 40 million tons and 7 million tons respectively. In Mozambique, Zambia, Madagascar, Nigeria, Congo, the reserve is 4 million tons, 3 million tons, 1 million tons, 0.9 million tons and 0.8 million tons respectively.
